Victorian Crescent Moon & Star Brooch
Stunning Victorian celestial brooch dating from the late 19th century, circa 1900. Set with vivid blue sapphires and ice-white old mine cut diamonds, it's formed as an exaggerated crescent moon with diamond and pearl star at the centre - each of the heavenly bodies set on a knife-edge bar with double gemstone terminators. The quality and craftsmanship are exceptional, wonderful detailing to the settings and intricate openwork around the outer edges of the crescent. Built in 15ct gold and silver.

A healthy patina and the odd scuff/scrape are quite normal... it's part of their charm! Everything we present has been checked over by our jeweller and should be good for wear for many years to come (unless otherwise stated) but please remember to treat them with appropriate care and consideration for their age.
