Georgian Rose Diamond Cluster Ring
Charming 18th century rose diamond cluster ring dating from the 1790s. The stones are set in silver over foil that's taken on the most enchanting antique patina over the years - perfectly complementing the rustic vibes of the mounts. Likely converted from a button, clasp, or lace pin, it's been paired with a simple 18 carat yellow gold band at some point in the past (well over 100 years ago).
Era: Georgian, circa 1790
Head size: 10.6mm by 12mm
Ring size: M or 6.25 US
Stone: Rose Cut Diamond (1.14ct total spread)
Marks: None present, tested as 18ct gold and silver
Condition: Good antique condition, an old conversion from a button or similar. This is a 250 year old ring, and it shows light signs of wear consistent with its age. Don't get it wet as water behind the stones will damage the foil. Take it off to wash hands, do dishes, and for gardening, bathing etc. Don't worry if it gets splashed, just wipe/pat dry asap

Condition
We offer detailed and accurate condition reports on each listing. These pieces are antique, vintage, or pre-loved, often over 100 years old so they're going to have lived a life. A healthy patina and the odd scuff/scrape are quite normal... it's part of their charm! Everything we present has been checked over by our jeweller and should be good for wear for many years to come (unless otherwise stated) but please remember to treat them with appropriate care and consideration for their age.
