Georgian Garnet Halo Brooch
Super cute little garnet brooch dating from the Georgian era, circa 1780. The principal stones is a saturated, pinkish-red garnet set over foil and surrounded by a halo of seed pearls and tiny, glistening old cut diamonds. It was originally a clasp (evidenced by the little slit still present along the bottom edge), but converted into a small brooch or lace pin relatively soon after it was made.

A healthy patina and the odd scuff/scrape are quite normal... it's part of their charm! Everything we present has been checked over by our jeweller and should be good for wear for many years to come (unless otherwise stated) but please remember to treat them with appropriate care and consideration for their age.
