Edwardian Sun Spear Brooch
Cool antique sun or star brooch dating from the early 20th century. The sun's rays are represented by spears and squiggles (I'm not 100% on the symbolism here, but it's remarkably well suited to GoT's house Dorne...) and there's a bright old cut diamond glistening away at the centre. As well as the brooch pin, there's a hinged bail for wear at a pendant that tucks away when not in use. Built in 14 carat gold with an inscription to the reverse: "A.M.W. - 10.12.10". Made in the USA.

Condition
We offer detailed and accurate condition reports on each listing. These pieces are antique, vintage, or pre-loved, often over 100 years old so they're going to have lived a life. A healthy patina and the odd scuff/scrape are quite normal... it's part of their charm! Everything we present has been checked over by our jeweller and should be good for wear for many years to come (unless otherwise stated) but please remember to treat them with appropriate care and consideration for their age.
