1975 Andrew Grima Cluster Ring
A stunning diamond flower cluster ring by Andrew Grima. Widely regarded as the 'father of modern jewellery', Andrew Grima was a hugely influential jewellery designer in the post-war era, known for his organic and abstract designs. Entirely self-taught, Grima established himself as a radical innovator almost immediately upon joining his father-in-law's jewellery manufacturing business in 1946. By the mid-1960s he had become the doyen of British jewellery design - the Royal and society jeweller of the day. Although this ring doesn't display many of the more avant garde trappings of Grima's jewellery, it bears the AG Ltd maker's mark by the Birmingham hallmark inside the band. It dates from 1975, crafted in two-tone 18 carat gold and set with 1.5cts of icy white brilliant cut diamonds.

Condition
We offer detailed and accurate condition reports on each listing. These pieces are antique, vintage, or pre-loved, often over 100 years old so they're going to have lived a life. A healthy patina and the odd scuff/scrape are quite normal... it's part of their charm! Everything we present has been checked over by our jeweller and should be good for wear for many years to come (unless otherwise stated) but please remember to treat them with appropriate care and consideration for their age.
