Victorian Sapphire & Diamond Cluster Ring
Gorgeous antique cluster ring set with a carat and a half of bright, old mine cut diamonds arranged around a deep, navy blue natural sapphire. It was made towards the end of the Victorian period, circa 1900, the flat band crafted in 18ct gold and the stones set in platinum prongs. And, on careful inspection, the arrangement of the stones and prongs is somewhat unusual, with symmetry on the north-south plane but not the east-west plane... two diamonds share the space at one end of the head, while only one is set at the opposite side. Weird.

Condition
We offer detailed and accurate condition reports on each listing. These pieces are antique, vintage, or pre-loved, often over 100 years old so they're going to have lived a life. A healthy patina and the odd scuff/scrape are quite normal... it's part of their charm! Everything we present has been checked over by our jeweller and should be good for wear for many years to come (unless otherwise stated) but please remember to treat them with appropriate care and consideration for their age.
