Art Deco Step Cut Diamond Solitaire Ring
A remarkable diamond forms the centrepiece of this Art Deco solitaire ring: a dazzling .95ct rectangular step cut, E colour and VS clarity. The stone is unusual on account of its proportions (somewhat wider than usual), its depth and large pavilion step facets, and the lack of truncated corners (usual seen on an emerald cut). It's mounted in platinum, with subtle stepped shoulders mirroring the stone, and dates from the 1920s. A stunning Art Deco engagement ring.

Condition
We offer detailed and accurate condition reports on each listing. These pieces are antique, vintage, or pre-loved, often over 100 years old so they're going to have lived a life. A healthy patina and the odd scuff/scrape are quite normal... it's part of their charm! Everything we present has been checked over by our jeweller and should be good for wear for many years to come (unless otherwise stated) but please remember to treat them with appropriate care and consideration for their age.
