1970s Taurus Zodiac Pendant
Taurus is the 2nd sign of the Zodiac; April 20th to May 21st. It's an Earth element with a feminine polarity and fixed modality - ruled, along with Libra, by Venus. The sign has its roots among a few different ancient myths and legends, not least the Mesopotamians (we're talking early dawn of known human history here) who knew it as the "Great Bull of the Heavens". This rendering of the bull is heavily stylised in relief, with angular features and a ring through its nostrils. Bordered by a diamond-cut design (so '70s) and stamped silver to the back.
Era: Vintage 1970s

Metal: Silver (marks to the back)

Condition
We offer detailed and accurate condition reports on each listing. These pieces are antique, vintage, or pre-loved, often over 100 years old so they're going to have lived a life. A healthy patina and the odd scuff/scrape are quite normal... it's part of their charm! Everything we present has been checked over by our jeweller and should be good for wear for many years to come (unless otherwise stated) but please remember to treat them with appropriate care and consideration for their age.
