18th Century Iberian Flower Ring
Dating from the early decades of the 18th century, this remarkable flower cluster ring was made on the Iberian peninsula sometime around 1720. The head, set with large rose cut diamonds, is modelled after a six-petalled flower with simple fluted engraving to the back and a reeded band with star motifs at the shoulders. They style is distinctive, with big domed bezels forming rub-over settings around the outer stones, and a pie-crust setting around the central diamond. The head is crafted in 18/19 carat gold and the band closer to 9/10 (for strength and durability).

Condition
We offer detailed and accurate condition reports on each listing. These pieces are antique, vintage, or pre-loved, often over 100 years old so they're going to have lived a life. A healthy patina and the odd scuff/scrape are quite normal... it's part of their charm! Everything we present has been checked over by our jeweller and should be good for wear for many years to come (unless otherwise stated) but please remember to treat them with appropriate care and consideration for their age.
