Edwardian 18ct Gold Curb Link Chain
A unicorn chain. A truly exceptional antique curb link watch chain necklace with oh-so-much going for it...
It's 18 carat gold. It's true yellow gold (no 'warm' rose tones here). It's solid. It's heavy. It's over 15 inches. It's all original. Each component, indeed each link, is individually assayed with a crown stamp and and 18 (and the very middle curb link is home to the Chester assay mark and the date letter: 1918). The T-bar, the dog clip, and the oversized bolt ring clasp are all still present. It's ungraduated. The patina is divine with a slightly matte appearance. And the wear is minimal. What else could you ask of an Edwardian double Albert?

Condition
We offer detailed and accurate condition reports on each listing. These pieces are antique, vintage, or pre-loved and often over 100 years old so they're going to have lived a life. A healthy patina and the odd scuff/scrape are quite normal... it's part of their charm! Everything we present has been checked over by our jeweller and should be good for wear for many years to come (unless otherwise stated) but please remember to treat them with appropriate care and consideration for their age.
